Teach your fingers to read. You'll start out by getting the feel for the dot patterns of the braille cell. Then, you'll learn basic braille letters, numbers and punctuation. You'll also create braille labels you can use every day.
As you progress, you learn short cuts for reading and writing braille (contracted braille). Experienced braille readers use contracted braille to read books and write notes.
As you will receive a braille workbook and audio instructions in the mail, a more in-depth registration is necessary.
