The goal of this course is to provide information needed for planning, establishing and caring for a container garden. Students are not required to plant a container garden.

Course Description
Container gardening provides an excellent way to connect with nature, and many
people who are visually impaired are successful gardeners. Any available space,
no matter how small, can become a container garden. Possible locations include
a balcony, front step, or patio. The goal of this course is to give the student
information necessary to plan, establish, and care for a container garden.

Prerequisite Equipment
Students provide their own writing tools. Those taking the audio version provide
their own cassette recorders.
Overview
Students submit seven assignments; high school students, however, are required
to submit an additional final project. Assignments and the final project may
be submitted in all formats.
