Have you ever considered fishing as a hobby? Did you previously enjoy fishing, but feel that your current level of vision is no longer adequate? If so, join us for Seminars@Hadley as we explore fishing strategies that depend on touch rather than sight to catch fish.
Join Seminars@Hadley as Lawrence Gunther, North America's best known and top-sponsored blind competitive fisher, writer, speaker and radio show host, guides participants through his five favorite fishing techniques that draw on the ability to think beyond the bobber and "feel the bite".
Larry Muffett, a member of Hadley's Seminars team, will moderate this 60-minute seminar. A question and answer session will be included as part of the seminar.
Space in this seminar is limited. Please only register if you know you are available to attend so that others are not closed out. To register for the seminar, follow the "Registration" link below.
Please read the technology requirements carefully prior to the seminar.
If you are already registered, we encourage you to verify that you are able to access the room at least 24 hours prior to the start of the event to allow time for troubleshooting. If you require technical assistance, please contact The Hadley School for the Blind helpdesk at helpdesk@hadley.edu or by calling 847-446-8111 ext. 6690.
If you want to see a list of seminars coming soon, you can find them at Upcoming Seminars.
