Module Description
A business plan is a thorough explanation of your business. It has two important purposes: operational and financial. A business plan should describe the operations of your business in a way that almost anyone could use the document to run your business the way you intend it to be run. From a financial point of view, it should persuade a potential investor or partner to invest time, resources, or capital in your company. This module identifies the information you need for your business plan as well as describes the basic elements of a business plan. The sample business plan it provides gives you an example of how a small business controls its operations and finances. Since market research, the marketing plan, and the financial plan are integral to the business plan, this module refers to other fundamental FCE modules.
