Eccentric Viewing

The goal of this course is to assist vision professionals teach eccentric viewing techniques to their clients. Learn the basic techniques of eccentric viewing to help your clients with age-related macular degeneration (ARMD) use their remaining peripheral vision for reading. The instructional videos demonstrate, step-by-step, how to incorporate eccentric viewing skills into your client's vision rehabilitation program. You also learn how to explain the importance and value of eccentric viewing to your clients, as well as give them ways to practice these skills to build reading speed and comprehension. Finally, this course suggests ways to help your clients apply these new skills to everyday reading activities.
